A LITTLE MURDER NEVER HURT ANYBODY
by Ron Bernas
October 12 - 21
This comedy is a love letter to the screwball comedies of the 1930’s full of witty dialogue and slapstick comedy. A rich, bored husband vows to kill his wife so he can become a jet setter like a recently widowed friend. His wife, who's always about three steps ahead of her husband, plays along. And so the game begins - a hilarious year-long match of wits and the witless. Add in a butler who is not what he seems, a detective who can't buy a clue, and two innocents (sort of) caught in the hilarity as they plan their wedding. As the couple’s friends, neighbors and staff begin dropping like flies, it seems the husband is successful in murdering everyone. Everyone, that is, except his intended target!
